The Total Chaos Long Travel +2” kit is a great option for those of you looking to have more travel on the trail, or for race events, without having such an aggressive wide stance such as with the +3.5” kits. This kit does require fiber glass fenders or aggressive cutting in order to work.
2.5” specific long travel shocks are required with this long travel kit; extended travel shocks will not work.
Both upper and lower control arms are chromoly tubed and provide 1” uniballs with each. These allow for maximum travel for both, as well as control and alignment specs. The lowers also provide a secondary mount for addition of bypass mounting.
The upper and lower control arms are able to use factory mounting locations to install on the 2nd Gen Tacoma. There is no modification necessary.
Limit straps are provide to limit the amount of droop within the suspension. These are also adjustable to fit your needs.
DOT stainless steel brake lines are also included to help keep lines attached with the amount of travel allowed with this kit.
In order to maintain four wheel drive, 4340 extended axles are required with this kit. These must be purchased separately.
If you would like heim joints you are able to upgrade to them. These allow for maximum caster and camber specs via 3/4” chromoly heim joints for the pivots.
