Upgrading to the 934 allows for a full 28 degrees of movement instead of the stock 21 degrees. In addition to the added strength, the 934 design is also much shorter than the OE unit thus allowing for a longer axle length which reduces the CV angle in all ranges. The increased range of safe operation angle also reduces inner axle bind which is the direct result of the outer Birfield failure.
Here is how it works:
We take OEM stock inner CV's and we machine them in-house to accept proprietary laser cut 934 CV flanges. The flanges are then Tig welded on inside and out for maximum strength. After the welding is complete, we machine the assembly again so the modified stub shaft is perfectly balanced.
A very small frame notch is required in order to clear the 934 assembly and we include fill plates that get welded back in.
All kits include bulletproof 300m axles that can be made to any length specified so this kit can work with any length arms. Please call us if you have a specific length that is not listed.
The 934 kit comes complete with 934 CVs, 300m axles, boots, clamps, grade 8 socket head cap hardware, snap rings, frame fill plates, and CV grease.
If you want we will also build your complete axle assemblies in-house that can be shipped out ready to bolt-on. We charge an additional $329 for this service and that includes disassembly of the OE axles and complete rebuild with new OE dust seals.
There is a $300 core deposit that will be refunded once we receive your factory CVs. Please note that aftermarket inner CVs will not work with our kit. If you have questions regarding your CVs please give us a call and we are happy to help you identify what you have.
