The Total Chaos +3.5” long travel system for the 3rd Generation Tacoma is a DAKAR race proven IFS system. If you are looking to race or jump your 3rd Generation Tacoma, or fit 35” tires without modifications, this is the kit to go with.
With 3.5” extended 4130 chromoly tubing upper and lower control arms, this kit not only mounts to factory positions on the vehicle, but also allows for +3.5” on each side of the vehicle. This may not be the correct choice for trail runners, as the width can cause issues in tight spots.
Both upper and lower arms include 1” uniballs for not only maximum travel, but also tuning of alignment and specs.
The Total Chaos long travel system is 2.5” shock specific, and provides a secondary mount for external bypasses. This kit will not work with extended travel shocks as they are too short.
This long travel kit also includes adjustable limit straps to help prevent too much drooping while racing or off-roading.
DOT stainless steel brake lines are included to help with the extra travel given in these systems.
Due to longer upper and lower control arms, TC 4340 extended axles are required to be used in this kit in order to retain four wheel drive. These axles are sold separately and not with this kit.

There is a heim pivot upgrade available for those who are interested. These include 3/4” chromoly heim joints, as well as heim uppers for maximum caster and camber tuning.
