If you are looking for a long travel setup that won’t leave you too wide, the +2” kit from Total Chaos is the way to go. This is a perfect setup for those who want long travel, without comprising the ability to run on tight trails.
With the +2” long travel kit from Total Chaos Fabrication you have the ability to run a long travel kit on your 3rd Generation Tacoma, without losing the ability to run the majority of tight trails. This kit is race legal for tracks that have limited width rules.
The upper 2” extended 4130 upper control arms bolt to factory mounts on the Tacoma, and provide a 1” uniball for maximum travel and alignment specs.
Lower control arms are also 2” extended as well as boxed and mount to factory lower mounts. These also feature 1” uniballs for maximum travel. These also include tabs for dual shock options.
Limit straps are included to help prevent shocks from drooping beyond their limit, and are adjustable to match your setup correctly.
Extended brake lines that are DOT approved allow for more travel without causing issues. All hardware to install these are also included in this kit.
This long travel kit is produced in the United States and is powder coated for durability.
Extreme cutting or fiberglass fenders are required for the 3rd Generation Tacoma.
You are able to upgrade to the Heim Pivot if you feel your Tacoma would benefit from running these. The Heim Pivot upgrade includes 3/4” chromoly lined heim joints, as well as chromoly tubing upper control arm helms. These allow for maximum tuning of caster and camber.

- This kit requires 2.5” long travel specifics shocks. This kit will not work with extended travel shocks.

- This kit requires the use of either TC4340 extended axles or others to retain 4WD. These axles ARE NOT included in this kit and must be purchases separately.
